Bobby Brown & The Scottish Accent

Subtitle

Sadly, there is someone who obviously does not respect Bobby and his legacy enough to want to ensure public access to accurate information about his life, his music and his legacy, through pictures and content of this website, as well as to give people the opportunity to enjoy listening to video clips and Bobby's incredible music. This person has gained access to Bobby's website and deleted everything. It will take time to rebuild it. Although it is not my doing, I apologize to any visitors looking for information about Bobby while the website is rebuilt. Thank you to everyone who have asked for access to the videos to see and hear Bobby playing his beloved Scottish Music. The videos have now been restored and I am working on other pages. I have restored the text of most of the other pages and will continue to add pictures and videos.

There are some pictures, videos and information about Bobby Brown on his Facebook page as well as other websites.

Bobby Brown July 13 1941 – May 3, 2011

It is with deep sadness and grief that we announce that Bobby died this afternoon, Tuesday May 3, after a 10 week battle with pancreatic cancer. We are devastated by the sudden and aggressive nature of this illness.

Visitation was held on Wednesday May 11 and Thursday May 12 from 2-4 and 6-9 at Turner and Porter, 2180 Hurontario Street (just north of QEW) in Mississauga 905-279-7663.

The service was held on Sunday May 15 at 2 pm at Metropolitan United Church, 56 Queen Street East (of Yonge Street and north of the Gardiner Expressway) in Toronto.   Details are also posted on the band’s Facebook page and also in the Toronto Star May 7th edition and the Toronto Star on-line.

We are very thankful to the incredible staff at Ian Anderson Hospice for their gracious and loving support and care of Bobby. http://www.ianandersonhouse.com/
